No invented case studies. No vague “success stories.” Here is exactly what we track, how often we report it, and what “progress” actually means — in plain English.

Most agency “results” pages are fake logos, anonymous quotes, and round numbers that never quite match a real business. We built this page differently. Vantage Ops does not publish invented client names, fabricated ROI claims, or generic before-and-after screenshots. If a number is not tied to your account, it does not belong here as proof.
Instead, we show our measurement framework: the metrics we track for New York businesses, our reporting cadence, and the language you should expect on a monthly dashboard. That transparency is how we earn month-to-month retention — not long-term contracts. For service details, see our SEO and PPC pages, or request a free marketing audit.
Clicks without calls, impressions without form fills, and “engagement” without revenue are common vanity traps. Our job is to connect marketing activity to outcomes you can verify in your CRM, phone logs, and Google Business Profile — not bury you in charts that look busy and say nothing.
Every engagement starts with a baseline. We then track a focused set of KPIs tied to how customers find and contact New York businesses online.
Target keywords for your service + city (and related local variants). We track organic positions, local pack / Maps visibility where relevant, and movement against a fixed keyword list agreed at onboarding — not a rotating set that only shows wins.
Form submissions, booked appointments, and phone calls attributed to organic search, paid ads, and landing pages. We prioritize conversion events over raw traffic. If it does not create a chance to win a customer, it is secondary.
GBP Insights: profile views, search queries that surfaced your listing, direction requests, website clicks, and call taps. For local businesses, Maps and the local pack often matter as much as the website ranking itself.
Organic sessions, landing-page performance, and engagement signals that support conversion (not vanity bounce-rate theater). We note which pages and queries drive real interest so content and SEO work stay focused.
Periodic, documented checks of how your brand and services appear in AI answer tools (for example ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews) for priority prompts. This is a visibility pulse — not a guaranteed ranking system — and we report it honestly.
For Google Ads and other paid channels: conversions, cost per conversion, conversion rate, and spend efficiency. Impressions and clicks are context only. We set conversion tracking before scaling spend. See our PPC service for how campaigns are built.
Clear cadence beats surprise decks. You always know what was done, what moved, and what is next.
More on how we work: About and the FAQ on measurement and reporting.
Example KPI language — structure only, not client numbers:
If a metric is not available yet (for example call tracking not installed), we say so and fix the tracking gap before pretending the number is zero or “N/A forever.”
SEO and content compound. Many businesses see meaningful ranking movement in about three to six months, with stronger organic lead flow through months six to twelve — faster or slower depending on competition, site history, and how quickly work ships. PPC can produce tracked leads sooner once conversion tracking is live. Local SEO and GBP often show earlier signals (calls, direction requests) while organic rankings mature.
We set expectations against your market — an HVAC company upstate faces a different timeline than a Manhattan law firm. That context is part of the free audit and first monthly report, not a “page one in 30 days” slogan.
We work month-to-month because results and communication should keep the relationship. If something is not working, the report says so and the plan changes.
Rankings, organic traffic, local pack where relevant, technical health, and organic conversions. Content and on-page work are scored by whether they support those outcomes.
